Senior Java Developer - AI Focus (Spring Boot, SQL)

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with an AI background to help deliver dependable, scalable backend services for innovation-led initiatives. You will work with Java Core, Java 8, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, Microservice Architecture Style, CI/CD, and Unit Testing, supporting cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement scalable, long-lived technical solutions that meet organizational objectives and engineering requirements
• Provide input in architectural reviews to influence solution structure and evolution
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
• Evaluate code contributions from other developers and suggest improvements aligned with engineering standards
• Diagnose and fix challenging technical problems that arise during development
• Support junior team members through coaching and knowledge transfer
• Help define project scope in planning discussions and contribute accurate delivery estimates
• Track new developments in technology and introduce beneficial improvements into active work
• Keep detailed documentation of critical technical choices and implementation approaches
• Work with business stakeholders to set clear targets and confirm delivered results meet agreed expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a comparable technical role
• Working understanding of AI concepts and tools applied to enhance engineering approaches
• Solid expertise in Java Core and object-oriented programming principles
• Practical experience using Java 8 capabilities in production-grade development
• Proven ability to use Spring Boot for building and supporting backend services
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure-based cloud systems
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services for launching and maintaining cloud deployments
• Knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals that enable reliable automated delivery
• Competence in SQL for operating within relational database environments
• Track record of implementing Microservice Architecture patterns in backend systems
• Experience designing and integrating REST API endpoints
• Strong grounding in Unit Testing practices to protect quality and stability
• General knowledge of NoSQL databases suitable for Java development
• English communication skills at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above
