Android Developer

Role Summary

KDCI Outsourcing is looking for an Android Developer to design and build applications for the Android platform. You'll take ownership of features from design through release, ensuring quality and performance across a range of devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features

• Work with outside data sources and APIs

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automated testing

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java

• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services

• Understanding of Google's Material Design principles

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience publishing apps to Google Play

• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment
