Why we need you

nyra insights is the operating system for modern neuro-rehabilitation. Therapists rely on it to guide patient recovery, design therapy plans and content, and make informed decisions using AI-supported analytics.

We are a leading player in digital rehabilitation in the DACH region and are now expanding into the US. This growth requires a platform that scales. Technically, contextually and across healthcare systems.

What you'll shape

  • Clinician-facing features: Build and improve the core workflows therapists use daily — patient management, therapy plan creation, progress tracking, and documentation

  • Content Studio: Contribute to our AI-powered content generation platform where therapists create personalized therapy materials using conversational AI interfaces

  • Architecture: Maintain and evolve a clean, performant, codebase both on the back- and frontend.

  • nyra ecosystem: Work on features that power nyra insights and deeply integrate with the patient-facing myReha therapy app.

  • Responsive and accessible design: Ensure the platform works reliably across browsers and devices, with attention to accessibility for clinical users

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Clinical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver polished features

What sets you up for success

  • AI-native workflow: You use AI tools daily as your default way of working and you write better code faster because of it. And you are able to build your own AI-based solutions.

  • Fullstack experience: 4+ years of professional fullstack web development

  • Modern stack fluency: Strong experience with our stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js) is expected. Knowledge of Firebase and/or Postgres is a strong plus.

  • End-to-end delivery: Proven track-record of owning features from concept to deployment across frontend, backend, and data layers.

  • Systems awareness: You understand performance, data modeling, maintainability, and long-term architecture trade-offs.

  • Bonus: Experience with CI/CD, healthcare/medtech and/or AI-powered interfaces

Beyond your CV

  • Product-minded: You think beyond the ticket and understand why a feature matters for the therapist and the patient

  • Quality-focused: You care about clean code, smooth interactions, and reliable, scaling systems.

  • Pragmatic: You ship incrementally and iterate, balancing speed with craft

  • Collaborative: You enjoy working with designers, product managers, and domain experts to build the right thing

  • Scout mindset: You take initiative and leave every system better than you found it. Code becomes clearer. Workflows become simpler. Tooling becomes faster.

  • Curious about healthcare and AI: You're excited to work on tools that blend clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology

About the Company

Name: nyrahealth
Location: Vienna, Wien, Austria

Every year, hundreds of millions of people lose parts of their brain's ability to speak, move, or think — and fight to regain it. At nyra health, we're building the connected operating system that gives them a way back.

We exist because we believe that access to world-class neurological rehabilitation should not depend on where you live, who treats you, or what you can afford. Our technology makes high-intensity, personalized therapy possible at a scale that was never achievable before — grounded in clinical science, powered by AI, and driven by real patient outcomes.

Working at nyra means moving fast, thinking rigorously, and staying close to patients.

We're a team of engineers, neuroscientists, speech therapists, and operators who chose this work because it matters. We've seen patients regain words they thought were lost, and clinicians reclaim hours of their week. We move fast, think rigorously, and hold ourselves to the standards of medical science — not just tech. We ship code, publish papers, and sit with patients. That combination is rare, and it's what makes nyra different.

Where We're Going

Our vision for 2030 is to become the global operating system for neurological care — connecting therapy, diagnostics, monitoring, and coordination into one seamless platform. We're building the largest longitudinal neuro recovery dataset in the world, and with it, the foundation for AI that doesn't just assist therapy but transforms how neurological conditions are understood, detected, and treated.

Our values

Patient-first, always. Every feature we build, every model we train, every partnership we sign — it starts with the question: does this improve outcomes for patients?

Scientifically rigorous. We don't cut corners. MDR Class IIa certification, peer-reviewed publications, and clinician-validated data are the foundation we build on.

Relentlessly resourceful. We're a small team tackling a massive problem. We thrive on creative problem-solving, deep ownership, and the belief that the best ideas come from people closest to the work.

Transparent and humble. We share what we know, admit what we don't, and learn from clinicians, patients, and each other every day.

Built to last. We're not chasing hype cycles. We're building durable infrastructure for a healthcare system that will need it for decades.
