Senior Platform Engineer, SaaSOps
Requirements:
-
Must have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience working with Azure cloud services (AKS, PaaS/SaaS offerings), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible etc), and event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub) in production environments.

Strong skills in Python, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, architectural design

Experience in Linux system administration, network management, monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana etc.

Strong hands-on experience designing and operating solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging both SaaS and PaaS services.
-
Experience working with Azure PaaS services such as PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis, and Azure Storage.
-
Strong hands-on experience with Azure services including AKS, Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, and Redis.

Deep understanding of Kubernetes across both AKS and on-prem Kubernetes environments.

Solid experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
-
Hands-on experience with container build processes and managing container registries such as Azure Container Registry (ACR).
-
Experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST and DAST tools.
-
Experience implementing Policy-as-Code using tools such as OPA or Azure Policy to enforce governance and compliance.

Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for cloud-based monitoring.

Experience configuring and managing Private DNS and Private Endpoints.
Responsibilities:
-
Logn term responsibility of this role would be to manage day-to-day SaaS operations of the platforms/products, ensuring high-availability, security and performance of the infrastructure.

Short term responsibility would be to closely work with the platform engineering/development team in implementing the enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native SaaS products from the ground up, manage/automate infrastructure-as-code, for cloud-native technologies.

Implement robust continuous integration practices, including code quality gates, static and dynamic security analysis, and container image scanning.

Design and implement a fully integrated DevSecOps toolchain aligned with security-first principles.

Integrate source control systems (GitHub or Azure DevOps) with build pipelines, artifact repositories (ACR), container scanning tools, and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows.

Implement secure secrets management using Azure Key Vault in cloud environments and HashiCorp Vault for on-prem deployments.

Enforce policy-as-code practices and implement compliance guardrails across environments.
-
Enable Kubernetes-based deployments across OpenShift, Rancher, or upstream Kubernetes environments.

Automate provisioning and configuration of core platform components including:

AKS clusters

Azure Front Door and Application Gateway

PostgreSQL Flexible Servers (per-tenant model)

Cosmos DB
-
Private Endpoints and VNet architecture
-
Support Hub-Spoke networking models and hybrid connectivity patterns.

Enable vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows across code, containers, and infrastructure.

Automate security posture management and compliance checks. Enforce RBAC and least-privilege access models across cloud and on-prem environments.
