Junior Java/Kotlin Developer

We are seeking an ambitious Junior Java/Kotlin Developer to join our Platform Integration team, where you will be trained and mentored while contributing to a key project for a global technology leader working to deliver high-speed, reliable internet across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain microservices using Java and Kotlin
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code for assigned features and bug fixes
• Participate actively in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under the guidance of a mentor
• Collaborate with the team in all Agile ceremonies
• Contribute to the team's documentation
• Build a strong understanding of the project's domain, architecture and codebase
• Grow into a productive member of the scrum team by delivering on assigned tasks
• Advance technical skills in Java, GCP and related project technologies on a continuous basis

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin development
• Knowledge of Spring, JUnit and Git
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Gradle
• Proficiency in English at Intermediate (B1) level or higher
